Rabbi Yona Reiss is the Av Bet Din of the Chicago Rabbinical Council. A noted Torah scholar, attorney, and jurist, Rabbi Reiss continues to serve as a Rosh Yeshiva at Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) of Yeshiva University. Rabbi Reiss is a summa cum laude graduate of Yeshiva College (YU) and received his law degree from Yale Law School, where he was senior editor of the law journal. He received his rabbinic ordination from RIETS, where he earned the distinction of Yadin Yadin. Rabbi Reiss lives in West Rogers Park with his wife Mindy and their six children.
